Privacy Policy
EFFECTIVE September 23, 2026 · BORDERLESS CONCIERGE, LLC D/B/A QUIET DEPARTURE
Scope of this policy
This Privacy Policy governs the Quiet Departure client portal at client.quietdeparture.com — the authenticated workspace where engaged clients and their advisory team exchange information for a specific engagement. It is separate from the privacy policy for our public website, which covers inquiries submitted before an engagement begins.
The portal is operated by Borderless Concierge, LLC (“we,” “us,” or “our”), doing business as Quiet Departure. Because the portal exists to serve a confidential advisory relationship, we collect only what the engagement requires, we do not sell or rent any of it, and we treat everything inside your workspace as confidential.
Information we collect
Account and identity information. When your workspace is created we hold your name, email address, and — if you provide it — your phone number. These identify your account and route notifications to you.
Authentication data. Access to the portal requires two-factor authentication. We store the enrollment record for your second factor (an authenticator app, or, where we have enabled it, SMS to a number you provide). We never see or store your password in readable form; it is held only as a salted hash by our authentication provider.
Engagement content. The portal holds the material you and your advisory team create together: questionnaire responses, documents you upload, discussion messages, support requests, appointment bookings, and the deliverables prepared for your engagement. This is the substance of the work and is visible only to you and the personnel assigned to your engagement.
Technical and session data. To keep the portal secure we process standard technical information tied to your session — the strictly necessary authentication cookie, the time of access, and errors encountered. The portal does not run advertising, analytics, or cross-site tracking. See our Cookie Policy.
How we use your information
We use the information in your workspace to:
- —Deliver the advisory engagement you have retained us for
- —Prepare the deliverables for your engagement — analysis, briefings, and reports
- —Schedule and confirm appointments, and send you reminders
- —Correspond with you about your engagement and respond to your requests
- —Authenticate your access and protect the portal against unauthorized use
We do not use portal information for advertising, we do not sell or rent it, and we do not add you to marketing lists.
Preparation of deliverables
Some deliverables are drafted with the assistance of large-language-model services — currently Anthropic, OpenAI, and Perplexity — running Quiet Departure’s proprietary analytical frameworks. Before any engagement content is sent to these services, names, addresses, account numbers, and other identifying details are removed; the services receive a de-identified situation, not a person. Transmission is encrypted, and use is governed by business agreements that prohibit training on our content and impose obligations of confidentiality. The analysis and judgments in every deliverable are made by Quiet Departure personnel, not by the model. No engagement content is used for any purpose beyond the preparation of these documents.
Text messaging (SMS)
If you provide a mobile number and consent, we may send SMS messages limited to appointment confirmations, scheduling reminders, and task reminders tied to your engagement. Message frequency varies; message and data rates may apply. Consent is never a condition of the advisory services.
You may opt out at any time by replying STOP to any message, or reply HELP for assistance. We do not share or sell mobile numbers, and SMS consent data is never shared with third parties for their own marketing.
Service providers
We rely on a small set of vetted providers to operate the portal. Each processes data only on our instructions and under confidentiality obligations. A current list, with what each one handles, is maintained on our Data Practices page. We do not otherwise disclose your information except where required by law, court order, or governmental authority, or to protect the rights and safety of our clients, our personnel, or the public.
Retention and security
We retain workspace information for as long as needed to conduct and conclude your engagement, and thereafter only as required by our professional and legal obligations. Access is restricted by row-level security in the database — your workspace is readable only by your account and the personnel assigned to your engagement — and traffic is encrypted in transit. Two-factor authentication is mandatory for every account.
Your rights
You may request access to the personal information we hold about you, correction of inaccurate information, or deletion of your information subject to our legal and professional retention obligations, and you may withdraw a consent you have given. To make a request, contact us at privacy@sorvantis.com. If you reside in the European Union or California, additional rights may apply under the GDPR or the CCPA; we will respond within 30 days.
Changes to this policy
We may update this policy from time to time. Material changes will be reflected in a new effective date at the top of this page. Continued use of the portal after a change takes effect constitutes acceptance of the revised policy.
